Testbericht
Der Crux kommt mit einer 3000er Hybrid-Schale und einem neu designten Kern zu uns.
Da der Crux mit viel viel Reaktion angekündigt wurde, habe ich mich für ein schwächeres Layout entschieden, um nicht zu früh Reaktion zu erhalten und noch genug für den Breakpoint übrig habe. Der Ball hält was er verspricht.
Das Fort- und Weiterbewegung am Breakpoint ist tatsächlich der Hammer. Der Crux händelt viel Öl und ist eine Augenweide, wenn er ins Rollen kommt. Es macht den Anschein, dass er nicht anhält und nur von den Pins gehindert wird weiter seitwärts zu laufen. Wirklich gut. Aus meiner Sicht ein starker, aber nicht der stärkste Ball den ich von STORM geworfen habe.
Im Vergleich zum !Q Tour NANO von Frank Heine ist meine Ballreaktion etwas ruhiger.
Für mein Spiel ist es etwas zu wenig geworden.
Macht nichts, habe genug Bälle mit eckiger Backendbewegung im Sortiment. Ein neuer starker Ball von STORM mit einem neuen einzigartigem Kerndesign, der richtig Spaß macht.

Test report
The Crux comes with a 3000 Grit Hybrid coverstock and a newly designed core.
Since the Crux was announced as a ball with tremendous reaction potential, I opted for a weaker layout in order to delay the reaction a little, yet have enough gas left for the breakpoint.
This ball keeps what it promises. The acceleration and movement at the breakpoint is indeed spectacular. The Crux handles heavy Oil easily and is a pleasure to watch once it gets into a roll. It almost seems as if it will never stop and the only thing that keeps it from going sideways are the pins. Truly remarkable! In my opinion, this is a strong, yet not the strongest STORM ball I have thrown.
My ball reaction, when compared to the !Q Tour NANO that Frank Heine throws, was a bit more subdued.
Actually, it´s a bit too calm for my game.
No matter though as I have plenty of balls in my arsenal that flip out of the building. All in all: a new, strong ball from STORM with a new core design that´s really fun to throw.
