E-R1 Solid Coverstock
Wrapped in our cutting-edge EXTREME-Response Solid Reactive Cover better known as E-R1 Solid Reactive, the PERFECT GEM creates a distinct advantage over its predecessors. While the original GEM was known for its early, "snow-tire" traction, the NEW E-R1 Solid material provides more of an “off-road” type of traction that allows the ball to clear the heads more easily while providing EXTREME response down lane and through the pins.
The Result: You won’t see it burn up too early. Instead, you get a ball that saves its energy for a continuous, booming shape down-lane.

Ball Maintenance
Over time, friction and lane shine can alter your ball's original 2000 GRIT PAD Factory Finish, affecting the traction and motion it was designed to create. To restore the PERFECT GEM back to its intended Factory Finish, follow STORM's recommended resurfacing process for a 2000 GRIT PAD Surface. After each session, clean your ball with one of STORM's cleaners to remove oil and debris. Routine maintenance helps preserve surface integrity, extend performance life, and keep your reaction closer to out-of-box.
